Christopher Vant Hoff
Design Team Member
Originally hailing from Waupun, Wisconsin, Chris returned to live and work in Chicago via Brooklyn by way of Cambridge via Chicago by way of Muncie, Indiana, with a dash of San Antonio thrown in there, too. His experiences in all these cities have shaped the way he reflects on the built environment, as well as spawned a love of urban life and an appreciation for local character and culture (food especially—Wisconsin brats and cheese come to mind). His penchant for architecture was realized in high school during a three-week studio program at Taliesin, where he discovered for the first time the different way in which designers must think and the impact they can have on the world.
Chris received a Masters of Architecture with Distinction from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He also holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Ball State University.
