The Consequences of Architecture
Produced by the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAi) in conjunction with their 2011 exhibition Testify!, this book features 25 projects from 5 continents, each of which were selected for their strong demonstration of how "architecture can play a part in formulating solutions to widespread global problems, and help to build a more sustainable future." Along with images and explanatory text, interviews with clients, users, and community members illuminate the process and success of each project.
Studio Gang's SOS Children's Villages Lavezzorio Community Center is included in the "Reach Out: Spaces for Learning and Community" chapter on pages 144-151.
